Also make sure guide lines are turned on in settings as there is an option to turn them off.

#2...√.. Backup camera works as it is suppose to.

Still can't figure out what is wrong with the entertainment. I have taken everything apart and looked at all the connections everything is perfect.
Only thing I think it could be is the 240b wires from the ACM that I didn't do because I didn't care for the Satellite radio or the reprogramming the ACM.

Really frustrated on this right now. I'll have to wait till morning for my surface to charge so I can program the ACM.

I suggest you program your ACM before you attempt any more troubleshooting. The 240b wires are not an issue. I do not have them connected to my APIM and my unit functions as normal. It might be a compatibility issue between the base ACM and the APIM that is programmed for a premium.

So I would suggest you program your ACM. If that doesn't work then pull the battery negative to reset everything.

I had the exact same issue when i tried to run my base acm with the premium mft.

I swapped my base acm for a premium acm and all was good. Should work fine if you reprogram your base to act like a premium

:headbonk:Well I am installing all the IDS software on my desktop because my surface won't run the VCX USB module. Then I have to haul my desktop out to my garage and set it up on the TV out there.

Well I'm not the most experienced with IDS..

I found the ACM module reprogram new install and reprogrammed it for the vin of the premium I got the APIM from. Didn't Work still having entertainment unavailable.

Tried to manually enter the ACM codes. Still nothing.

Both times ACM reset. I cant find where to look at the ACM codes to see if the changes are sticking or not. Anyone know where to go to look at the codes for the ACM module?

This might not be an issue you can solve by simply reprogramming the ACM. You might NEED an ACM from a premium as they are in fact different units. Either that or you have your APIM programmed by jmr.

With that said, do you have the As Built Data of a premium acm?

I just can't find where to veiw the codes for the ACM to see if it has the base or premium codes right now. I see where I can go and view all the voltage.

I am not sure you can view current ABD with the software you have.

I'll have to call and see if the ACM/head unit is still available at the salvage yard I got all the stuff from. I hope I can get one before the end of the week its going to suck with the interior all apart and a radio that doesn't work.

There is a way to "read" the data in the module but it is an advanced user function.

Just noticed I got the wrong APIM. They gave me one one from a heated seat car instead of a non heated seat. :/ guess I can live with it.
