Are these cars not being sold at list? I thought you where a Ford dealer? I thought all new Mustanga sold by dealers had to be at list price?

Doesn't mention anything about price. So I'm guessing they are full list price. Maybe cancelled orders?

j-rowe14 can you publish the pricelist for the 3 of the cars, as i'm sure a lot of people would be interested in snapping these up from you.

The DIB EB (Blue one) takes my fancy, however it'll still arrive after the scheduled drop of my RR EB in March, otherwise i'd have deffo looked at the switch!

I don't class delivery in April and May as "available for sale"

Well, as current orders are expected delivery of Sept->December, these are more for sale, for those people, rather than people that's cars will arrive around that time etc.

It's essentially selling the 'spot'. I also think, for those interested, it's worth speaking to James, I doubt these orders are locked in yet, and you'll probably be able to change the spec, aka tactical queue jump :)

j-rowe14 I assume for clarification to those interested parties that they will be able to pay you a ÂŁ1000 deposit to hold the 'spot' and then will pay the rest upfront (Or finance), rather than paying you the amount now and then waiting?

"The great news is that we have increased production, so waiting times for factory orders will be reduced

stories of cars arriving in 2017 are just incorrect, order today and your car will be built in May"

Assuming worst case scenario that means cars will be with people in Mid August, still ahead of the above estimated dates (which will probably move forward)

The new from Andy is a blessing to those still waiting for production, Ford are doing a big step forward and learning for their setbacks, can't fault them for that, Andy's deffinatley doing the best out of most massive companies doing something like this and is taking action, so if he see's this, good job from all of us current/future mustang owners Andy_Barratt.

I ordered 7th May 2015. No one seems to know when or if mine will be built. Originally i was told in would arrive by June July this year, but that was quickly shortened. In October i was told it would be built 12th November. It wasnt. My dealer still tells me it should have been built before the end of December, but cant find out if it was, and if not, when it will be. Early December i e-mailed Karen. She said she would come back to me as soon as she found anything out. 1 Month later she has not come back with any info at all.

So if orders placed today will be built by May this year, i assume that every car ordered over the last 8 months will be built by then too?

I am not in a rush, and was happy enough with the original estimate, but the flow of info, or lack of is enough to really put me off. I know when it arrives i will be over the moon, and maybe the weather will even be right for the soft top by then. I think all the people i told i ordered one think i made it up....

Email [email protected] during working days tend to get a response within a few hours if that. Usually shorter if you know your order number so that they can just plonk it into the system for you. I was also told November (albeit 11th not 12th) dealer also swears by the 'Shoulda been done before end of 2015' However I have more contact with Karen/Mustang email/Andy and co than I do with my dealer.

I'd assume all orders placed by may (within reason) should be built by then. And therefore, those before it as well..

Haha, Someone else on the forum was saying this, as it's so unusual to the common public to wait so long for a car, FYI 'made-to-order' Supercars take 6-12months on average.
Taking into account this is the first time ford have done something so 'big' for made-to-order specced cars, it isn't all that bad for the timeframes, however, the empty statements from dealers and lack of information (again from dealers/Ford USA) is something that needs addressing.

Then again, i'm on cloud 9 when i read any update about my mustang... Cloud 5 if it's telling me it's delayed. As long as i'm kept informed i'm fine.
