Although I have literally just had a call from my ex-wife saying that Grandma is pulling the plug on the school fees for the kids.

Talk about timing. Maybe I'll keep the car hidden.

Just taken another call and the car has arrived. Might detour on the way to work later to have a quick look.

State school! Keep 'em grounded; Daddy's got a Mustang, they'll understand. If you see it today, note the mileage, don't want any 'test drives' this weekend.

Finally!!!!

Just got a call. Car due at dealers tomorrow. I'm busy with work for the next few days, so I'm picking up on Monday. My sales lady sounded more excited than me

She sent me a long list of reg numbers which I studied for ages but couldn't make any of them into words or names, so just picked the one that sounded like the code for a fighter plane.

Just in time for the colder weather, hope the heater is good.

Pleased for you mate, about time lol. Make sure you still take the time to check everything over and leave being happy, which fingers crossed all is ok and big smiles when you hit the start button :cheers:

Couldn't help myself, just been to see it.

Sat in it and started the engine, lovely.

My sales lady removed the ugly bumper reg bracket from the boot so it couldn't accidently be fitted and gave me the Window Sticker. She was a bit puzzled by that

No alignment probs noticed. The underseal is everywhere underneath, as suspected. A spray and pray job. Even the undersides of the exhausts are black.

Nice one mate, is there anyway to clear the underseal of exhausts that are black and by the sounds of it, looks a bit tacky (Can u even see it unless u look under?)

Did your eyes light up and you turn into a giddy kid when the engine went on?

Sorry for the cruddy phone pic and once again it doesn't show the orange. I was grinning from ear to ear when I started her up.

Underseal does look awful but I had to crawl under the car to see it. Very hard, almost baked on, especially on the exhausts, obviously.

I will be keeping an eye on it to see if it does the job as it would be a warranty claim.
