Evening,

For those among us who have little ones it would be helpful to see any car seat setups. Pictures and brand would be good!

I myself have a 5 yr old and 2 yr old who both want to have first drive. I will be putting in a booster and also an isofix seat. Given the deep seats in the rear I may have to do some test fitting at baby bunting

My daughter is 6 but will be 7 by the time the car arrives. Im gonna use a safe n sound booster. When I get the car I'll take a picture. There's plenty of room and she fits in the back easily

Further to that, can anyone tell me if the Convertible has the connectors on the back for booster seats. I noticed the fastback has them on the rear parcel shelf but not seen the vert setup.

I have a safe n sound booster for my 5 yr old. It seems quite narrow but not sure how it will go in the back. If my car ever gets here I will trial it out

The one I saw didn't seem to have anything unfortunately.

More importantly, does anyone know how many cases of beer will fit in the boot?

There's a webpage where a guy in the US trials a heap of baby seats and boosters, try and google it.

I've got 2 Recaro car seats (not boosters) in the back of mine. There is plenty of space. I think the one is a performance sport and the other is a proride. The issue you have is with depth not so much width. The deeper the car seat the more you have to move your seat forward.

Thanks WILDB. The only isofix seat I can find in Aus is a convertible seat for infant to toddler and very expensive. I couldn't find am isofix booster only and a bit uneasy about just using the seat belt to hold my 4 year old and booster in. I thought it was mandatory to have a mounting point in a car for the booster tether strap in Aus but may be wrong. Thanks for all the answers.

Ok so I fit a booster seat for one of my boys today...fark!!! Not an easy fit. Also confirmed that I cannot fit in the back seat of the mustang at all.

My Holden Astra Convertible has the mounts hidden under/in the space for the roof when off. A little hard to explain but you needed to take the roof off but not let the action complete to use the mount. Perhaps the manual will have something?

there is a thread for this one too on here, Convertible Baby Seat Top Anchor Point
I recently saw a convertible with a booster seat in the back but can't tell you if it was top or bottom anchored. Apologies it's not a very good pic. Got so excited to see the very same car as we have ordered!

This from the other thread here 'convertible baby seat top anchor points" :
"I have a 2015 GT convertible with two kids, six and two years old. The answer to both of your questions is yes, it has the top anchor and it remains attached with the top up or down (though it is a tight fit for the strap with the top down).
Enjoy the baby and the car!
Both our kids love driving with the top down and the looks of longing you get from other kids in minivans is priceless. posted by peetucket"

Hope that helps . . .

My daughter is 3, but I fully expect her to be 13 by the time the car arrives!
(or at least it feels like it on two fronts - 1) the wait is so long! 2) they grow up so quickly)

I fully expect to have to lower the roof to drop my kid in as the easier way to do it in a 'vert :)
