Just had another chat with the Ford team. Luckily I called again instead of waiting to hear back from the manager overseeing the entire delivery process who was supposed to call me back yesterday, as he's now gone on leave as of today - what a top bloke. Hope he has a good Christmas.

No-one could literally neither tell me where my car currently is, or when it will be arriving. One lady kept telling me it was on the Parisfal - OH WAIT YOU MEAN THE BOAT THAT ARRIVED A MONTH AGO? :doh:

Another lady who was quite helpful is now trying to track it down and find out all the information she can on it. Fingers crossed I can get some real answers and find out when I might get my car - and then add an extra week onto that! :rant:

Just spoke to my dealer - locked in for this afternoon!

Interestingly though he said they were still having issues with software for the radio and they were waiting to hear back from Ford... Said they would deliver the car regardless though and if need be would fix up the radio post Xmas.

This is what should have happened from day 1, rather than all the silly excuses.

Glad Ford pulled it's finger out and decided to give them as Christmas gifts, otherwise they'd have ruined Christmas too! :headbonk:

Mate my dealership said the same thing yesterday re software update for the Digital radio. They are trying this morning to resolve the update but if not completed by midday when I take delivery they'll just do at first service Normal FM will still work fine, just not the digital stations. Too easy.

Liber what does your WWL manifest and Prixcars record say as to where your VIN should be ?

I heard from my dealer yesterday.

He was saying there were 2 minor issues; one being the the digital radio and the other with the RHD wipers, both dealer fixes.

He also said only a limited number would be delivered before Christmas, his first deliveries, unfortunately, are held over until New Year.

So you guys getting yours, Head 'em up and move 'em out!!

My dealer only got two cars in Adelaide and next lot of cars which is only 3 more from memory wont arrive til end on January.
