Bayford Ford in Coburg have taken at least one delivery. Those plate brackets need to go though.
The plate brackets are disgusting, could you confirm sync 2 or sync 3 Deano. Only reason I am asking is because some guy on whirlpool is saying sync 3

Sweet mother of god.

That number plate bracket is hideous.

Hoping for a non Sto-N-Sho professional looking solution soon.

I bet they have drilled holes in the bumper
I think this goes without saying but I will say it in any case. For those who do not want any holes in the bumper, talk to your dealer before hand, then send him an email and get it in writing that they wont fit those brackets. It is no good complaining about it after they are already bolted on. I sent some photos to my dealer this morning and his reaction was pretty much the same as the reaction from most people on here, he cant believe them either.

But until they actually get the first cars arriving at the yard they wont be able to work out the best way to solve. I would bet that a lot of the dealers are not even aware of how ugly these things are, and if they don't know before hand that you don't want them the guys doing the PD will probably just bolt them on.

Just got back from my dealer. Car turned up overnight!

The car is filthy (as expected after 4 months of sitting around!) and there is a small dent on the rear quarter panel and a light scratch on the front quarter panel... Dealer is going to get both items fixed up. Not ideal but nothing major.

Aiming for delivery on Christmas eve.

A couple of first impressions:

1 - The cars even while dirty look amazing!
2 - Panel fit seemed okay. Walking around the car it looked pretty consistent. Didn't spot any signs of panels rubbing and the rear light fit looks okay. Not perfect but better than a lot i've seen and acceptable in my eyes
3 - Very happy with Guard! It looks a lot more like dark green than Magnetic in the metal
4 - No number plate holders fitted to the car (they were in the boot). The dealer was as mortified as we were when he saw them. They are going to try and fit the plates (QLD slimline plates) without using them. The back should be fine but he isn't sure about the front yet

Pictures attached!
