Cant seem to find the info - does anyone know the DB level of the above exhaust and is it legal in the UK?

For the umpteenth time..... ;)

ANY exhaust that is LOUDER than standard is technically illegal.

MOT fail if:

"The system emits appreciably more noise than a similar vehicle fitted with a standard system in good condition."

That said, there is no actual dB test used by either MOT testers or the Police since there is no actual defined limit.

The Corsa Extreme, if you didn't already know, is at the VERY loud end of the scale so don't be surprised if you get pulled for it. ;)

Unless you're in central london having a rev match with a bunch of 'select people' in their beemers/Audis/Mercs at past 10pm, you're not going to get pulled for your exhaust at all. Very few people know the specific sounds of a car so don't worry.

Xtreme is approx 24dB over the stock exhaust

I got the Sports Catback from Hypermotive, who did me epic price on shipping and deal on the Corsa system.

I prefer deeper tone of the Sport system and it is still loud, if I want it louder I can look at high-flow or de-cat options down the road.

Lmfao! I know how the scale works :lol:

I was surprised there a lot of systems much louder on the DB scale however because it's raspy people's perception is that it's louder than the competition, surprised me

Could you elaborate there seems to be a few Hypermotives on Google that cuold fit the bill you refer to.

Ive just watched a episode of wheel dealers with the cobra & when it its iva test it had to be 100db or less
