Hi guys, not really a creative person, and I tend to lack taking lots of pics, but I've had my car for almost a year now, and I spent some money this weekend on mods and am planning to start making some changes to "Envy", and since I bought a camera for BF, I'm going to try to start a "build" thread. I know it won't be up to the standards I have seen here, but it will be my small input to the thread. So I'll start with some pics I took when I brought her home, and then start updating as I go...thanks for looking.

Ok so I was trying to decide on which catback to get, and while I was at the L.A. Auto Show this week I was talking to a friend who said I should just get rid of the resonator, add an X-pipe, and see how I like it....so I did, maybe it's just me, but I basically notice no difference, and I'm surprised....

Here's the stock sound on cold start.....

And here's the new resonator delete, X-pipe, on cold start...

After MUCH deliberation, after getting rid of the resonator and adding an x-pipe, after emailing back and forth 100 times, after talking on the phone with Steve 2 or 3 times, I FINALLY decided to buy the Solo-Performance Mach Thunder Cat-Back system using the group buy and extra 5% off. Trying to avoid buying a whole system cost me an extra $250, but I guess it's a learning experience. The Mach Thunder sounds unbelievable, and I can't wait to get it and get it installed....Thanks so much to Steve@Solo-Performance for putting up with me through the process....now if I could just talk myself into pulling the trigger on the set of wheels and tires I want, I would be about done, and broke....

Took the exhaust down to the shop for the install, along with my springs and Steeda IRS braces and bushings on Friday morning, went over to Best Buy to set up the appointment to have my Thinkware installed on Sat., came home and found these sitting on my porch...

Got the Thinkware F750 installed today, didn't get any pics but you know what a Dash Cam looks like....I'm dropping her off tomorrow to get the springs, IRS subframe goodies, exhaust and spacers put on, I wanted to stay there and get "in progress" pics and stuff but they told me if I drop it off at 9 they MIGHT be able to have it done by close, so I can't rally sit there all day, I'll just take some pics of her again in the morning before I go, and then get some either at the shop or when I bring her home. And then I am going to try to install the CAI on Saturday and get her washed up for our Meet on Sunday. David, thanks again so much for all your help, I would like your continued input into what you think should be my next steps, I'm guessing since I've tightened up the back end, that it might have something to do with tightening up the front end, but I will fall back on your knowledge. Thanks for the interest guys....

I have some ideas :) I want to see how the car handles once the first round of mods are in!

Well I was up until 6:30 this morning, (couldn't sleep), got up at 8 to take the car down, got there, talked to joe about what they were doing and my friend got there to bring me home....got half way home and realized I didn't take ANY pictures of the before, and forgot to take a pic of the odometer either. My Dash cam is on, so when they get in to move the car they will hear it, so hopefully that keeps them in line in case they have any funny thoughts.

OK so I got home from the shop at around 7:30 pm...Solo-Performance Mach Thunder exhaust (holy shit she sounds amazing), Eibach sportline springs (wow she rides so much better), 1" spacers (stance looks amazing now, might not even bother getting new wheels), Steeda IRS support bushings and braces (feels much tighter and firmer)....overall I feel like I took my car in and went back to a car they switched to trick me....SO happy with all of it...I just realized that because it was so late, and I was excited to start her up, I completely forgot to take pics of the Steeda braces...ugh, sorry David@Steeda, I will see what I can do in the daylight, or when I go back on Tuesday for the alignment...

Buy the one in the classifieds! It's cheap!

OP car looks great, coming along nicely.

Can't go wrong with Solo!
