Just ordered the roush vents and I do not like how little the opening is for the vent. My plan is to use my Dremel and open it up down the center where the indention is located on the vent and the hood. This should allow more air to escape and help with the hood flapping. Will update this thread as I trim.

Exactly what I wanted to do. Youre talking about slotting the hood with where the roush vent openings are correct?

I'd be careful with that, I believe its designed that way to control the flow of water that gets in the openings during rain, car washing etc.

Is your hood flapping ?? My hood is rock solid, vents are in there tight & don't move either.

I have opened my grill up considerably. Not worried about water as I can create covers for the parts beneath it.

Yup and opening the roush vent to accommodate the opening in the hood. Looks like a 2" wide by 4" long cut.

I opened mine up a lot. My dremel was broken so I just heated up a knife and cut it.

Just finished the cutting and it works! No more hood flap! Will post pics later. Still have to sand the rough edges!

Just received mine and inspected it.

There are also vertical "walls" on the bottom piece that protrude up, one wall behind each vent. So that is contrary to the aerodynamics, too. IOW, even if you cut that long window, these walls are still reducing the effective vent hole height. Curious.

These are before I sanded. I could have opened them up more but would have sacrificed rigidity.
