Update.
Ok, so I have had the car for a week and a bit now and done 750 miles.

I absolutely love the thing. I has exceeded my expectations in every single way!

I drove to Colchester and back today and drove pretty conservatively. Trip computer showed 31mpg. No, I have not checked that by doing a refill but will do. The fact is, its more of a physiological thing anyway so seeing 31mpg does it for me!

I did have a mad moment when a couple of lads pulled up alongside me in a Subaru thing with a fat exhaust. Lights went green and I booted it. OMG! The beautiful sound as the V8 went through the gears was wonderful. And seeing the Subaru in the rear view mirror even better. I slowed up when I hit 70....I really. And they came storming past with the guy in the passenger seat giving me the thumbs up.

This car is amazing at speed but I think I love cruising in it even more. Everything is just effortless. Changing down through the box for roundabouts? Nah, just cruise round and listen as that glorious V8 burbles out the bend in a gear

This car is great at speed and even better just cruising but its at it best stationary with me outside looking at it.
I get home, park it and look back as I walk away. Then I get indoors and look out the window at it. I have even gone outside to 'get something out the boot' when I see people looking at it.

I never have and probably never will be, so happy about a car!!
Enjoying your little updates mate, keep them coming and glad to hear you are enjoying the car in every aspect...especially those lovely MPG figures

That made me smile reading that :) What fuel are you using? Unleaded or Super?

I am using super generally but if a super pump isn't available I use normal. Jury is out on what I should use.

Do you notice any difference between driving on the different fuels?

Not really.
Sorry, cant talk for long......err, I need to go to the shops, oh no, there is a slight drizzle of rain. I will have to drive. Even worse, the car is pointing the wrong way and its about 5 miles to the nearest roundabout to turn round!!
