Headers question from a headers noob

I'm in the same boat here, my next big mod are catted Kooks headers. I have the Corsa Xtreme, but my only concern is if it's too loud inside the cabin and can't have a conversation with someone...I don't care about how loud it is on the outside though lol

I'm supposed to be installing a set of SP headers and no cats on a car with Xtremes. I'm planning on doing another video like I did with the sports.

Why don't you want the Corsa Sports? From the vids I've seen, they sound amazing with a set of offroad longtubes!

I've had headers on multiple vehicles and have never had a problem with leaks.

only reason is, I like the more exotic angry t-rex tone of the xtremes. the sports while similar obviously just have a different variation in tone. both are great, I just like the xtremes more.

Don't buy Ebay headers and you will be fine.

I got couple videos on You tube but video dont do justice... my buddy Ray (Dezl50) used to have SW catless and the Corsa extreme and they were loud... i have kooks o/r w the Corsa extreme.. and i think its the loudest combo

My main concern would be the decibel level! Lots in this thread are not happy with the increased levels! These Stang's have nice power. I have ARH catbacks and will install the Steeda CAI and tune in March! That will be good enough for me.....until I order the 2017 GT 350 ????.....maybe?????

Anyone know if the catted /off road long tubes offer much of a difference in power? I see a lot of catted headers out there but does that defeat the purpose of buying headers in the first place?

After installing them, I have no desire to try and get at all those bolts again to retighten them.

i have never had a header leak on an 11-14 car or a 15 yet, we typically reuse all the oem equipment.

hell, my 11 has had the headers on and off about 10 times and never had an issue still with the oem gaskets, we usually throw a little rtv on when we reintsall each time

Just wrapped up. Had the power go out (still out btw) which threw a nice wrench in it. I'm uploading my iPhone vid when the power comes back and I can do it over wifi. I will tell you cold start was insanely loud lol
