Can I just say I find it funny that a Mustang, the very definition of "f**k you, Greenpeace!" is sitting on the forecourt next to a hybrid Mondeo?

What's the ecoboost like to drive then (and sound)? I've got my dealers GT right now and it's scary quick. Quickly learned not to squeeze the loud pedal in 3rd when it's drizzling!!

Well sound wise - from the inside at least it sounds great, got a nice growl to it. We were lucky enough to have a good look around their demo GT which was started & revved - obviously the EB will never match up to it but considering its a 4 cyl, I think it sounds great.

In terms of the drive - bear in mind I am used to a Fiesta here - firstly, I felt right at home straight away, it's just comfortable, well designed and feels well balanced. It will take some time to get used to the length of the car - the bonnet, to me, just goes on forever! Not so much of an issue when you are driving about but manoeuvring in carparks/pulling out of junctions etc was all new to me!

When you put your foot down, the power delivery is superb, for such a heavy car it just takes off! Over twice the amount of power I've ever had and feels like it! To be honest, it was raining & my journey home did't allow for too much enthusiastic driving, but when I did "give it the beans" it just put a massive smile on my face.

I could go on but I will leave it there, for now
