How many runs do you think the magazine guys made to get their 12.1 and 12.4? It wasn't just one run and done, have some patience :cheers:

A bone stock 2015 runs a 12.90 according to mm&ff magazine the Shelby has 90 more hp. That should put it around 12.2-12.0 stock. No changes being made.

Just saying being a drag race guy I'm a little disappointed. Especially with drag radials. The mag guys did the same time with stock tires. And a stock tune and 93 gas.

Correct. The Shelby has a different motor and gearing. But I'm still disappointed. I'm still comparing them to the stock tune and stock tires from others stock times. If they ran the same times with stock tires and then put dr tires on then posted those times and then did a tune and posted those times I'd be more interested in. But to run the same times on only knowing that they used dr tires and are getting the same times as a stock tire car. Sorry not impressed. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I didn't say a non R ran a 12.1. The non R ran a 12.4 on stock tires.

Look I don't care what u like or don't like. They ran one at 12.1 and the other at 12.3 with dr tires. If your happy with that then good for you. I am not happy with that on dr tires with or without a tune. The R runs 12.1 on stock R tires. The non R runs 12.4 on stock tires. These guys are running stock reported times on drag radial tires is all I'm saying and I hope for better times on a stock tune with dr tires. I know it'll go faster. But with good tires I was hoping for better times. If you don't like my post don't read it.

Come on fellas... Some of you are just a little too much. Its the FIRST TIME they have driven these cars at the track. Give them a little time to learn what the car likes.

I'll be honest, if they figure it out, they will be hauling ass. The track is very cold but the DA early this morning was almost -1000.

I can't wait to see what some of you Key Board King Pins run in your own cars... ;)
