My built date was 23rd October, no record found on the ANIARA. Still no light at the end of this long tunnel.

found out this morning that there were originally 34 NZ mustangs affected by the seatbelt recall.
My recall notice has now disappeared so hopefully Flat Rock are now sorted and mine might make the Tarago sailing Nov 20 or the Tysla sailing Nov 27
The black cloud of despondency has lifted!
Day by day we get closer!

Just doing some analysis and so far found 14 August cars on the Aniara; there are 2 cars built on 20th.

One bit I've finished is the split of models:-

Coupe GT - 109
Convertible GT - 19
Coupe Ecoboost - 37
Convertible Ecoboost - 43

Good - my choice the 'vert GT is the rarest, should keep its value better ;)

Looks like the idea of a convertible being a 'cruiser' holds true with more people getting the slower 'vert.

Just found out that the only reason my recall notice disappeared yesterday was a computer glitch at ford
Bloody typical!
Its now reappeared so delivery is now totally unknown and black cloud of despondency that lifted briefly yesterday has returned
By the way did anyone notice during the 1st test in Brisbane in which NZ got a complete hiding that ford sponsors the nz team?

I think you were shafted Aussie Mate along with quite a few of us. In another thread I gave an example of 4 cars that only took an average of 22-23 days from build date to arriving at Baltimore Port. Work that one out!!

Hopefully this will become the norm once RHD production settles down.

Took a chance and message Ford FB last night with a simple 'Hi There'.
I wasn't really expecting a reply but 6 hours later they replied!
After a few messages between last night this this arvo, was told that my car will only be built in February (Dealer told me delivery Feb)!!!
Was told that generally it takes 72 days from production to end delivery.
Means that my car wont be here until April/May!!!

I've ask Ford FB when was my order logged into their system but was told I should check with my dealer, which I am going to do.
I've asked them what I could do to speed things up but still haven't heard from them yet.

I am seriously thinking of cancelling my order. This is just hopeless!!!

I :censored: placed the :censored: order on the :censored: Dec of the :censored: 2014 and I am only getting the :censored: car on the :censored: month of :censored: May of :censored: 2016!!!

Have you been given a VIN yet mate?

Hard to believe that an order placed as early as yours hasn't been serialised and scheduled yet. Unless, of course, there was some kind of balls up when your order was uploaded into the system.

I've had a VIN for a few weeks but no build date has yet been scheduled (confirmed by Deysha - although she did state it would be built in December).

Lean on your dealer - if the VIN has been generated he will have access to it in VISTA. Some dealers apparently don't like providing this information for whatever reason.

Join my club... Similar issue. It seems that ford changed the ordering process after announcing this dealer portal that was supposed to build cars in the order they are entered. It looks like this didn't occur and they just fell back on dealer allocation and I am guessing like me your dealer has a crap tonne of orders and you are car 7-15.. Hence the 2016 build. I posted on the fab visitor page with my displeasure and am still awaiting a follow up but expect nothings for substance as there is little to no chance of ford au admitting they completely screwed over people who pre ordered the car

we can both sit back and enjoy the late delivery and getting a high powered rear wheel drive car delivered in bloody winter

Geez..YellowGT...that is just totally wrong in so many ways......I can only imagine how brutally angry you must be...what are those morons doing with their screwed up ordering system?
I was talking to a relative of my wife on the weekend, who ordered from the same dealership as myself....he ordered in March 2014...and he will not be getting his until Feb 2016...he is beyond angry as he was the second order at the dealership....we were around the seventh.....needless to say, he has already put it up for sale....he is so angry that he doesn't even want to see it.
That dealership had over one hundred orders as of July 2015.....when will those poor bastards ever get their cars.
