I just made an appointment to meet on Monday at a dealership to put in an order on their last GT350 allocation at MSRP!

I will update as I make progress on the order and delivery.

Just talked to my dealer yesterday, I should have mine the week of Christmas. Which is moved up from February.

Are you sure it's @ MSRP. I've talked to a friend that lives there and he said there are no 350's @ MSRP. I've had a lot of sales people say oh yeah come on in only to find out there was a adm.

I'm just outside of Charlotte in Stallings. Good to hear yours will arrive before year end.

Well I guess I will positively know come Monday. It's supposed to be at MSRP per the Sales Manager I talked to but I will be meeting with a different manager on Monday about putting in the order. So hopefully they aren't jerking me around. Fingers crossed!

If you have your conversation in email, print it and bring it with you. Most states have bait and switch laws. If they raise the price once you're in there and then offer to sell you something else, that would be bad. You might be able to use the email as proof and force their hand.

Unfortunately it was only a phone conversation, but thanks for the heads up. I will definitely keep that in mind if they try and jack up the price when I get there.

Usually a bait and switch is when the car they advertised at X price is not available (and they id not specify limited availability) but I think changing the price of a car to be out of your price range sounds just as scummy.

Ordered mine from capital on south blvd in charlotte as live in Ballantyne area. Ordered a R and honestly they have been horrible. No updates nothing. Probably asking for my deposit back here shortly as looks like no Rs coming our way till spring.
Was 10k over msrp if you want it

Yes many offered to jump in. This is why these cars are selling for stupid amounts folks. I mean you can get a Z06 loaded for 25k adm which some folks paid. Love the shelby but it's not as good a car as that

Z06 - is that the one that had a few different engine failures during magazine tests? Not a very good car in my book. You couldn't pay me to take a car where the engine failed in a magazine test. I would hesitate to buy a performance car where anything failed during magazine testing. If it's not built to use hard, I don't want it. Also, warranties end and I wouldn't want to be stuck with a car I'm afraid to keep beyond the warranty period.

I do agree that for me $25k ADM doesn't make sense. However, I know some people have lots of extra money. For some people who have a few tens of millions extra laying around, spending an extra $25k is like taking the GF out to dinner for me. I'm not going to judge them. I'm jealous, but not judgemental. :shrug:

Hey I'm sure you'd win... even if you were driving another 5.0 you'd beat me due to my lack of ability and knowledge WRT track driving. I was posting about my aversion to risk. Car companies generally have it together enough to give the magazines a good example of the model for the magazine testing. I don't have enough extra money to risk spending it on a car that had multiple engine failures during magazine testing.

Hack...... Did you read the ....long term test ....Car & Driver dec. 2015 issue of the C7 . It was a nightmare for the crew to live with. I know it wasn't a z06 but it shows the engineering problems GM is having with this model. Blow engine @ 6000 miles , rear seals replaced. Starter motor replaced. Trans problems that were never fixed, heating air unit replaced, heated seats that didn't work and a few things I missed. The final comment was before they turned it in was....... If they owned this car they would have sold it. Not good for GM and Yugo I mean corvette. It looks like this model will go down in history as worst then the 68. What the hell is going on over @ GM. I'm staying away from the corvette brand and I used to own a few.
