Anyone run c16 or q16???

im definitely trying the RGA but why do u think you're making more power with it than straight c16?

I'm not sure that's true I mean a tune for straight c16 is probably going to be pretty awesome but what a pain in the ass, I'm just guess that rg blend is going to be real close and so much easier. I'm having zero hp problems

we have used torco / octanium before for a little more

we did throw some c16 in the car at bg as it's all we had on hand and wanted to try a race gas tune

it works well, but leaded fuel can play havoc with the factory widebands

MS109 makes great power....sometimes too much as I have personally experienced. I trust C16. It tunes like pump, loves high IATs and is very safe and consistent. It is expensive though, mighty expensive, and it is best to run it straight. That means draining the tank which is not that simple on these cars. So, I guess something you can mix, like the RGA or E85 is the best choice.

What I meant by same/better results in my post on the first page, is that I have had the same power results and the "better" portion of my statement is in regards to the tuning aspect. You have to make more changes to the tune to properly utilize C16.

tell me about it I'm really looking forward to running some 11.70s on pump gas and 10s on race gas

One thing to keep in mind with MS109 is that there are two versions. One has MTBE, and in states that don't allow MTBE, you can only get the other kind which is oxygenated with ethanol (MS109E). It's around e30. I forget the exact ratio now, but you can look up the stoich value and come up with your own estimate. Ok I just looked it up (lol), 13.14 for 109E and 13.63 for the regular MS109. Specific gravities are quite different too. Just something to keep in mind.

Yea, stoich is pretty close to E30 (12.95). I don't think MS109 is worth the money at all, I would go with RGA, or FTW Red if you want to spend some money.
