Where are you at in SA, noticed a new magnetic pulling into the neighborhood last week, long shot but thought I would ask.
I'm close to Castroville so it's definately not me. I bet your car sounds awesome with the headers though!

On a more general note, I wish there were more videos of the magnaflow streets on youtube to listen too. I feel like I'm leaning towards that system.

I have always described the magnaflow as a smooth sound. would be a good choice.

I love the MF Comp sound, just disappointed it drones you would think MF of all companies could build a great system without drone.

Our Instagram clip that we also put up on YouTube is the Street system if you want a general indication of the tone. The volume difference between a Street cat-back and the Comp axle-back with resonator should be fairly close, as Beefcake mentioned above (and it's no surprise that Beefcake is on point).

I am currently running the MF competition CAT Back and it sounds amazing under power and super deep at idle. I will say that drone is an issue. I find my self switching gears more often just to avoid it.

Morning start up is loud and my German neighbors hate me. I'm actually going to weld in some Vibrant Performance bottle style resonators to come it down just a touch.

Hey guys, it's my first post here. I've searched through the threads quite a bit and I still feel like I need some help. I'm looking to put an exhaust on, but I'm having trouble deciding on which one to choose. This is regarding the GT to be specific. For reference I think the borla s type is too loud and too raspy for my tastes. I haven't heard the magnaflow competition catback in person. I love the deep sound in videos, but I'm wondering how the sound level compares to the s types. I'm also considering the magnaflow street catback and the competition axleback. With the last two choices I'm curious how they compare in loudness to each other as the comp axleback will keep the resonator. I'm also slightly worried that they may be too quiet. Thanks in advance for any input!
I had similar thoughts and went with the MF Comp with stock resonator. Nice throaty tone and I loved it at first but after a few months I felt like it was not loud enough so I added lethal performance x pipe. So far I'm loving the MF Comp with Lethal X Pipe. My suggestion is go with an axle then add X or H if needed.

Hello dental guy, I bought my GT in October and spent the time since I bought it until about 3 weeks ago attempting to decide. I knew I wanted a catback system add an x-pipe in place of the resignator, and for an easier install over the axle back. I ended up with the MF comp catback. Great system. HIGH quality 3" pipes... System is amazing. I'm sure there are 5 or 6 vendors fighting for our mod dollars that all have high quality. I wanted the deepest sounding exhaust as well. I was coming from driving a 2014 GT with a Roush axle-back. That system was MEGA loud. Our neighbors are totally cool. To our faces anyway, :)

The guy from CJ's that does all their video's now, said MF has the deepest sound. He has heard them all.

The MF comp catback is not as loud as those Roush axle backs. It is a tamer system than I thought I was getting. I do like it. The more I drive it, I think the sound changed just slightly louder. Initially, I didn't have any blurbal as I lifted off the gas and left it in gear. Now, there is a slight sound. It's a good system. My first track day with this car will be in June. I can't wait to hear what it sounds like on a track wide open...

Magna flow for customer support was fantastic. I couldn't thick of any ways they could provide better support for my needs. I like company's like that.
