Ordering mine today! *UPDATE* Ordered 10/19/15

So I am heading to the dealer today to place my order. Obviously no one has my combination:

GT Premium
Competition Orange
Painted Black Roof
GT Performance Package
Voice Activated Navigation
Recaro Leather Sport Seats​

Luckily I am dealer chain employee (I work at a chevy store. Yes, I know.. :ford and get a pretty good deal! Already been in contact with the dealer and drove a non-recaro car there yesterday. Made up my mind!​

I currently drive a tastefully modded CO 2004 Mach 1 that I do track days with. So getting another CO car would be natural for me.​

The dealer told me 6-8 weeks to get her! The anticipation will make me:headbonk:​

I will miss my Mach 1 greatly. It's been a long love affair. So naturally I had to get another orange one!

He probably means that no dealer will probably have that combo on their lot.

And that's probably accurate. Dealer lots are mostly white/gray/silver/black with only a little color mixed in.

They searched for one with that combo, and there wasn't anything with 500 miles. As I expected walking in, I would have to order it. No surprise!

There were plenty of PP cars around, but none in CO with a black roof option, and very little recaro seat cars too.

Order was completed last night! I'm going to go nuts waiting for this car.

On a side note: They have a HUGE speed bump thing in the lot at this store, and my exhaust on my mach 1 hit it and separated the right muffler pipe from the X pipe. LOUD does not justify it.. Fixing that this afternoon...

Don't do it, I've regretted getting rid of my '03 TR Mach 1 ever since I did it.

The sales manager there that did my deal actually puts the orders in for that store. He said it takes two weeks to get a VIN, and then two-three weeks to get the car built, and then transport. He said there is currently no restrictions on delays on any 5.0 mustang options/builds.

I watched him actually enter it into the Ford system. Was a pretty primitive system, but cool to see nonetheless.

Just got informed we will have the VIN next week and can better track the build. It'd be awesome to have this thing by the end of November, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Any of you order your car that could chime in on time frames? I am going to be a nutcase over this until the car arrives!
