Haha... thats funny....I have polished my GT rear decklid panel a few times and made exhaust noises through the Borla a couple of times....and it is to be noted that the strut tower brace wont fit on a Falcon.......the no mustang blues makes people do weird things....
 absolutely lost it at this hahaha

what I can work out is the big red monster has been berthed about 15 hours, do you have any idea when she is due to sail?
I can't say I share your optimism about any of our mustangs being loaded but hopefully I am totally wrong
Will keep trying my vins in the meantime but last time with uk vehicles the vins were accepted once the cars got into the ww custody even if not loaded until a day or so later
May the Mustang Gods smile on us!
Scheduled to sail 19 October Baltimore time ... so sometime in the next 26 or so hours, but it was late into port also so it could be 36 hours from now.

But given one guy in the forum updated that he got his window sticker today and his dealer is still showing a Dec 12 ETA ... I am wondering if they are going to wait until they have 2 months of Mustang production at the port and then ship to Australia.

Might go and solve world peace, it will be quicker than trying to work out when our Mustangs ship and get delivered.

What a PR nightmare Ford Australia !!!!

Haha don't worry, I did tell her it's not my car. On a positive note, she is a huge fan of mustang's AND she even said "please tell me you ordered a black one". Double win! :headbang:
Once theyve had black.......you know the rest..

On a side note I did get you wear my new mustang shirt from CJ Pony parts at a car show on the weekend......

Might just resort to buying Forza 6 to test drive a digital mustang.

Oh wait... Don't have an xbox...

Serious question. How many of you guys are NEVER ordering a Ford again, after this mess.

Just for the record, Lexuses are awesome, mine keeps my bum warm in the winter and cool in the summer while I'm waiting for the Mustang to arrive.

Seriously, this will be my first new car purchase, so I don't know what to expect, but this is SOOOOO different to my experiences thus far...

- I bought a WRX from a workmate, so I went in a few rides in it before I bought it; parked next to it few times at work so I could see what it look like next to my other car; finally sat down at lunchtime and transfered the cash/ownership with the guy then drove home in it.

- I bought a Lexus from a car dealer whose lot is literally out my backdoor - he drove it to my driveway, let me go for a test drive, then I came back and bought it - total purchase time about 20 minutes.

None of this f..king waiting months begging to hear a whisper about when I might get a date.

I Never thought I would order a ford EVER to start with....My last few cars all had long waits, The SRT Jeep was 3-6 months, My 200 Series was a 3 month wait (new ford Ranger is a 4 month wait, My Mates CLA Merc was a 12 month wait). At the end of the day there are so many variables and things than change with the New Mustang.... Ford Australia is probably fed up with some of the BS they have been fed....It's all a good exercise in patience...
My wifes RX350 Lexus was in stock so she was happy....and yes it's not a bad car lol...

AND saying that iF I was lucky enough to be receiving a first batch car I think I would be alot less patient, I guess your alot more eager and you did sign up LOOOOONG ago so I share your pain.

I imagine it's a lot like buying a new Ferrari (because of the wait), but with less options (which Ferrari are more than happy to charge you for) and, of course, less supermodels.

Except in HybridGT 's case, where he's already pulling chicks just with the car parts in his front room :headbonk:

I try looking at the positives...
