Can someone comfirmed me if I am correct but I remember Ford saying that the GT350 R will be making a bit more power than the regular GT350. Lets not forget that the GT350 R is the true competition for the Camaro Z28. With that being said, it seems like both the GT350 R and the Camaro z28 are evenly match. The Z28 has the torque while the GT350 makes more power, and is lighter. I am sure the GT350 is faster than the z28, how much of a difference, we are going to have to wait and see. I am really looking forward for the GT350 to come out and get tested.

The Z28 runs the same quarter mile compared to the Boss 302. Both at 12.3, that doesn't mean the Boss 302 is faster at the track. The new Camaro has similar power to the Boss 302 and runs the same 12.3 as the Boss 302 and the Z28. I believe the GT350 will be running a 12.0 for the R and a 12.1 for the regular GT350. Camaro guys are dilusional if they think the new SS Camaro is going to be faster in a straight line because it isn't. Also can someone comfirm if the 12.3 of the Camaro was with the Auto transmission, because then that makes the manual car a bit slower. Since the Boss 302 was running a 12.3 with 444 horses, I am sure a slightly heavier GT350 R will be running a faster quarter mile with an extra 80 horses and less rotational mass due to lighter wheels and grippier rubber.

Doesn't M/T usually have some of the faster mag times? Them and C/D.

I expect better traps by AT LEAST 2-3 mph. Something is off with those times and I don't like it. That much power and gearing doesn't trap that slow. Theres just no way. It doesn't add up.

Cosmo, it bogged because he cant drive. I want to see 60fts and slip. That will tell me lots more.

I dont think we will see the slips, im guessing 2.0 60ft times with the way they were spinning hard seemingly all the way through 1st in the videos

Motortrend recorded a 2012 Boss 302 12.3 at 115.8 MPH. The GT350 is trapping a higher number yet its runing a slower time. Something is off here.
