I should have clarified...a built bottom end. Seeing as the next gen Mustang will be a hybrid, I'm just thinking ahead with ideas. 650 HP NA some day?

I think a new stock FPC 5.2 shortblock is now around $6500. I think there might have been a core as well....don't remember.

That doesn't seem that bad, but if your buying one because there was a failure you might not be so lucky as to get off that cheap.
