Im sure they have but lots of fanboys try and tote Ford for being so honest yet GM cant be trusted. From what I know, Ford has more dirt than GM when it comes to decieving about their products.
Thats the dumbest argument for either camp to sling around. From what i know they are about equal with dirt.

Alpparently the only ones putting out mis information is Ford about their products. Not the first or last time.

Kinda like how theyre getting sued for lying on their epa ratings, gave road & track a 2000 lightning to test and they found the truck to be modified, or how they said 99 Cobras had 320 horsepower but were barely making 300.
I swear your honor. I didn't know the ignitions were faulty and people could die.

Your argument really isn't all that smart, going back 16 years to pull out something...really? GM - ignitions - kill people. Come on no car manufacturer is completely honest.

Want to discuss about the cars intelligently then go for it, but know until the car hits the streets and gets some real independent testing (not the paid and bought for car Mags) no one will know anything about it. People choose cars for different reasons, going on a board to stir things up is childish. That's what your doing.

You talked more shit than me. Youre making personal attacks, I was just talking aboit Ford vs GM rivalry. Your e feelings are fragile.
Where is my personal attack? I guess I typed something and didn't realize it?

Yeah, my e-feelings are hurt:crazy:. Try contributing to the forum instead of just posting hate on Ford.

Im not trying to make an argument about who's more honest. My coment was in regards to fanboys who cry that every performance test, whether it be by GM or a 3rd party is a lie. Its big among Ford fanboys for some reason. Im just pointing out that if you look at history, Ford's credability on it's numbers are the ones you have to be careful to believe.

But I will agree more testing by different sources will give us more accuracy on how well the 2016 SS performs. But I also have no doubt that it can achieve 12.30s or even a little quicker in mineshaft air.

This is the first thing I'll agree with you on! It should run 12.3-12.5s! Not 11s! You also need to quit throwing around the term fanboy so loosely. You don't see me over on the Chevy forums defending Fords honor.. I traded in a 2SS/RS for this mustang. I'm well aware of what both companies have to offer before you go trying to label me a fan boy.;)

Id be interested enough to check it out before i order my 16 gt if i didnt think it wasnt going to be problematic like the current vette, it didnt have DI and had actual room under the hood for fi besides a damn pd blower. I agree with thepill its chassis is a horrible design. Id like to be interested but chevy has made it stupid easy to shun their camaro and vette.

It might run a high 11 in negative DAs in perfect conditions. I would not call it a SOLID 11 second car. Not close.

Although I want a 2016 SS I might buy an s550 mustang. Im looking to get something new and the SS is kinda pricey. Low 30s for an s550 that comes with forged internals is what i might go with. Im not looking to spend 40k.

Last Mustang I owned was a 96 Cobra back in 98. Owned Chevys since then.
