This post has made me start researching da polishers... Might have to pick up the harbor freight one too.

Debating if it's worth my time, since I don't keep mine in a garage, and it's pretty much pollen season here right now.

Well a good wax will help with cleaning the pollen up. The Harbor Freight DA polisher is really nice, and I had a coupon for it, think I got it around $40, variable speed. I really don't see the point in spending several hundred dollars on one.

Had to use some touch up paint on the side of my car, thanks to what appears to be a mf'ing crowbar falling from under a car in front of me:

I couldn't tell WTF it was while I was driving or where it actually came from, but now that I review my dashcam footage, it looks like it came from the car in front of me.

It's pretty deep and Dr Colorchip is just serving as a workaround until I can get this taken care of. The attached pics are before the touch up.

There's always some shit on the interstate or something falling off people's cars around here. "Keeping your eyes on the road" means something completely different to me than most people out here in Louisiana. It means watch out for all the shit falling from cars and trucks, and potholes.

Yeah, crap on the road sucks and you usually don't have much time to see and react to it. Looks to me like it was something laying in the road, and it kicked up when you ran over it. Don't think it fell off the car in front of you. If you listed to the audio really close, you can hear it clank when he ran over it too with his right side tires.

I once ran over a short hollow pipe and it somehow got wedged between the floor and my gas tank puncturing a 2 inch wide hole leaving fuel gushing out. Pulled into the nearest gas station and everyone started running out with bags of sand. They temporary plugged it with a bar of soap.
