Build Week - 09/28/15

Nice! My wife is the same, but now she is numb to the whole thing. I don't even get a reaction anymore. She is now just as excited for my car as me. She thinks I'm going to sleep in my car when it gets here.

Don't you guys laugh, but the first day i got my 2011 GT , i sneaked in the garage late at night and fell asleep at the wheel while parked in the garage. no kidding, took my wife 1/2 an hour to finally find me .

I'm wondering if mine was actually built yesterday, but I don't know how I could find out since COTUS doesn't work for me.

Go here:

https://www.etis.ford.com/

Click Vehicle on the top, then enter the vin number. There will be a build date there on the top right. If it hasn't been built yet, it'll be a default number of something like 0002.11. something something.

Thanks for the tip. My blend date was yesterday but ETIS is still showing a nonsensical number for a build date. I wonder if that means the car hasn't been built yet, or this site just hasn't updated yet?

Even if it was built yesterday, there's a possibility the site just hasn't been updated yet. That's happened to almost everyone else in the early threads. Mine hasn't been updated either.

Thanks. I've been looking at this every 5 minutes for the last 5 days. I think production maybe lost a few days recently, even though I'm probably wrong. I'm just so restless, especially when I see people out driving theirs. Honestly I don't want it until the 20th, but I also want it now! I'm stuck driving a Chevy Cruze that's not mine until it gets here. My wife says I can drive the Edge whenever I want, but it's hers! Haha

Yeah, I'm not even gonna bother sending Deysha a message, because I know her inbox is getting destroyed. Once it's shipped, I'm gonna press my dealer to get a realistic expectation of its arrival though.

Yours finished building yesterday and were released from the plant, guys.

I'm wondering if mine was actually built yesterday, but I don't know how I could find out since COTUS doesn't work for me.

Yours also finished building and released from the plant yesterday, and it was put out to await shipment today, ManBearPig.
