MBRP EXHAUST FAQ's

Facing fitment issues in this exhaust. Need help.. guys.. driver side.. touches sub frame and tip is not getting centered touches rear valence...

passenger side is perfect but driver side is not. and when tip is centered...pipe touches the subframe

Just gotta mess with it, I spent quite a bit of time trying to get mine lined up. Still off and touching the valence...and the elbow of the pipes are hanging pretty low. thought about bending the hangers above the diff to help pull the exhaust up.

My driver side is the same way. Hits subframe on the left and then my tip hits valence on right

exacltly the same issue my friend...exaclty..

To get my tips centered (the driver side that is), I just jammed two small pieces of wood between the valance and tips while tightening. They are centerd and stayed that way once I pulled the wood out

However, the pipes on mine are touching the subframe; how bad is that really? :shrug:

I have the 409 SS Race version that I purchased from HP-direct.

which one did you order? Street or Race?

I got a call from Horsepower Direct today letting me know that the race version had some issues with fitment and they shipped them back. I went ahead and switched my order to the Street version.

I can give you solution for fir emnt issue..

I am also having fitting issues. The driver side top is lower and has a big gap, the passenger side is perfect

OK the best bet for u is.. go to exhaust shop.. and while installing push everythin up... it will into place.. tehy wu will have issue with one side touch under body.. or rubbin.. muffler guys use heat gun to set that out
