Maybe this isn't technically a mod, I attached the pic, I saw on atm car they drilled the holes through the blocked honeycomb on left and right sides, said on driver side that's where sir goes in for I take tube and on left side, keeps turbo cooler? Either way I think it looks cool. I know you can by aftermarket mesh or just drum cut the honeycomb out, but this is cheap and easy if you are patient

Two schools of thought on this. Half wants to stay true to what Ford engineers say is the reason for the blocked grill; which is a controlled amount of airflow going into the engine bay, regulating even amounts of pressure under the hood. Forcing air over and around the engine instead of on to it.

The other half cannot stand some of the psychotic engine bay temperatures they're seeing (I can't blame them) and gut the entire grill.

Many more posts about this if you search for things like grille, delete, drill etc.

You are going to pay $500 for a piece of mesh? I know you said you don't want to cut your car, but you have to remove your bumber anyways, and the honeycomb is cheap plastic...what are you ruining? It's not like it's your actual car. But hey if you have $500 for some black mesh that costs $10 at Home Depot, more power to you!

Hydro dip = inexpensive, plus compared to real CF the weights savings for a cosmetic piece like that is going to make no difference on the car

well for me personally,
I don't like the fully open "delete" grills out there
but I do want a grill that removes the front pony and has improved airflow

best I've seen so far is the RTR....so I'll wait patiently and gladly pay the asking price
