Finally got my VIN and Window sticker

Today I aced my new job interview, & to top it off I got my VIN# and window sticker!

8/13/15 was the day I placed my order for my
2016 Mustang Premium EB (Magnetic)

"It finished building and was just released from the plant yesterday.
It’ll now be put out to await shipment and wait to get loaded onto a rail car.
It has an ETA of 10/13/15 to your dealer, which is subject to change. Keep checking with me." - Deysha

Deysha (Ford service rep) sent me this message today including my VIN and Window sticker

S5fiddy ordered his two months after me and I'm not that far along. Still no build date......Hard to believe the allocation/prioritization mechanism is that skewed.

It is all about dealer allocation. Does your dealer have any allocation? Maybe try ordering with a large volume dealership because this happens when ordering from a small dealership. Ask your dealer about allocation.

It's the only dealer in a wealthy county of NJ. I would have thought they had good numbers. I suspect that means the Porsche and Audi dealer next door gets better allocations.

It is all about dealer allocation. Does your dealer have any allocation? Maybe try ordering with a large volume dealership because this happens when ordering from a small dealership. Ask your dealer about allocation.

This is VERY true. I was lucky enough to order it from a dealer smack dab in the middle of Orange County. So the priority level I believe is raised, since there is a higher demand for vehicles at that lot.

Make sure to call your dealer and see if you can get it changed from Special order to Retail. Makes a big difference.
