Ok. I researched the injectors.

Stock 2015 Mustang GT uses EV6 body style injectors. The are long body.

Ford Racing 47# injectors: pn M-9593-LU47 are direct replacement and EV6 body (long)

Ford Racing 52# injectors pn M-9593-LU52 are EV14 body (medium length). These are 2013-2014 GT500 oem

If you run the EV14 body (medium length) then it requires are shorter spacer due to the shorter injector. I don't know the length of the spacer needed or where to get them except from ProCharger as I believe they sell the 52# version.

Hopefully Terry at Beefcake can help me out tomorrow and can get some spacers sent overnight. Or I might have to bite the bullet and return these and pay the extra for the ID1000s.

Yep. Doing it myself. Says 5-6 hrs install time. Means about 3 times that for me. Im slow and meticulous on the mechanical stuff.
Guess who has a vacation day for Friday? :) What time we start biotch. :headbang:

I believe the ProCharger supplied ones are the Ford Racing 52 lb ones that I got with my kit. They are supposed to be the 2013-2014 GT500 OEM injectors. If that's the case, then I'll need that shorter spacer.

Do the ID1000 injectors need the special spacer or do they use the stock spacer?
I installed the ID1000 injectors with the factory spacers.

However, the ID1000 injectors can also be installed without the spacers as well.

Not sure if the 52# injectors can be installed that way or not....

I talked with ProCharger technician today and they do use the Ev6 body style 52 lbs injectors (Ford Racing ones). They are the medium length ones, and you DO need to have the shorter spacer for the fuel rail to make these work.

The spacers are $60 for the 4 spacers, but are in stock. With overnight shipping, Its almost $90 to get them to me. So I am contemplating going up to the ID1000 injectors.

Apparently the 52 lb injectors from the GT500 can support about 630 whp with stock fuel pump and NO BAP. With BAP, I think they are good till the low 700 whp range. So they should be a good option, but you must make sure you have the spacers required to run them.

Terry is tying to help me out with a solution.

Well. I ended up getting the spacers shipped overnight, to surely have them by Friday. FedEx delayed my shipping an extra day, so the ProCharger package has been rescheduled for thusday (Tomorrow). Hopefully it will show up, and I will still be on track for Saturday cranking.

That's what I probably would have done. Can't wait to see your results!

3FRMM-002 is the part number for the spacers you need for the 52# injectors, but i would think they would come in the kt.

If running 93 octane or less there is no benefit to the stage 2 system. Dedicated drive belt is not a problem until going past 12-13 psi. Also, the dedicated drive system is more complicated to install and the puts a higher load on the crank bearings due to the increased cantilevered load because the new pulley is further away from the bearing carrying the load. The stage 2 intercooler is nice but only is beneficial at higher boost levels, from the information I got from ProCharger. If I was going to push the limits of the stock internals and running high boost and E85, then I would have gone stage 2. Im.wanting a fast fun daily driver that i can take to the track occasionally, that will outrun 99% of all cars on the road. :ford:

Does anyone know if the 52 lb injectors are shorter than the 47 lb ones. Both are Ford Racing. The ProCharger install manual shows they include fuel rail spacers. I heard they use the 52 lb ones. If so, I might be in trouble for my install. I didn't know they were different. Anybody know for sure?
Ford Racing 52lb EV14 Part # M-9593-G302
Ford Racing 52lb EV6 Part # M-9593-MU52

If what you are getting is the MU52 part #, you should not need a spacer as the GT uses an EV6 style injector factory. If what you are getting is the G302 part #, then yes a spacer is needed. Both will work, just one does not require a spacer.

For anyone else wondering, Injector Dynamics Injectors are EV14, but use an optional cap to make them EV6 length for our cars.

This is what I was looking for! I might go ahead and just get the ID1000s so the duty % isn't almost maxed out. You went with this kit?

Did you upgrade your OPGs and Crank Sprocket?
