Here's what I've found today online, while looking for some potential stuff to get...
Keep in mind these are Canadian dollars, but still, you'd have to add 15% sales taxes since we're in Quebec here... Enjoy the good laugh :lol::lol:

If that's $76,123.00 also realize in US dollars thats $57k. Someone will pay it I doubt there are many of the 1964 left for sale of the LEs

Well, with taxes it'd come to $87,522 (Canadian, $65,653 US) for me, so sorry but I'm not paying that money for a Mustang GT... Cause at the end of the day, that's what you get ! A good looking one, but still a Mustang GT.

agreed, that much over msrp... EFF that, if you're in canada go buy yourself a nice R33 or R34 skyline and call it a day, forget a mustang at that price... thats gouging, and should be illegal

There is one at a dealer on the East side of the state, used, with 845 miles, selling for $48.000. However, I checked the book price on a used 50th and it was $42,000 to $44,000. So, all those people who bought these for $20,000 over at release are out big time, unless they plan to store them for 50 years.

Who cares what others pay? What makes a hunk of metal from the 1960s with $100-200k? Nothing other than perceived value.

Value is in the eye of the beholder. If they want a limited car they will pay more for it.

I'm sorry if this causes anyone some butt hurt but the S550 50th anniversary edition is not worth a penny over normal retail price. Yes even though there are only 1964 made, it's just not going to be a collector car. Seen any Mustang 35th anniversary editions worth anything ever or 40th? Or....why would 50 years be any different or more special?
How about in a few years the 55th edition?
I won't be using my retirement money investing in one with the hopes that it will be some rare, awe and gasp inspiring car that you will only see a few times in your life and collectors hunting you down to buy it from you.
