What stopped you guys from going with a US import ? You get arguably better aesthetics, more options, ACC and Memory seats.

Personally the issues I see is that you cannot get PP + Automatic and that the Sync system will have its issues.

In the end its a question if your country accepts the US model, but you already see some US models for sale over here in some countries, which suggest it is possible.

Update: Talking already imported US model by a European dealer.

No warranty, it costs more, additional homologization, I actually like white lights on Guard.

I took the 5 year warranty for my Mustang and I saved about 7k€ compared to an Import. I also prefer the classy look of the EU Mustang with PP.

Most of the modifications that the import-sellers do to make the US car legal in GER (the backlights!) look terrible.

No warranty, no established dealer network for servicing, additional fees, taxes and import tarriffs which makes it more expensive than a EU one, and more than anything, the fear of being sold a salvage title as a 'new car' as so many others have been burned by this.

Figured if they are imported and sold by a dealer it would include warranty, same car made in the same plant.

Warranty being the main issue..... whatever "warranty" you would get with it if bought from a dealer would probably be worth less than used toilet paper!

So happy that Ford decided to bring the Mustang to our shores :hail::cheers:

Who wants to be tied to one dealer, as well? A factory warranty is good wherever it says :ford: on the building.

Ye guess warranty is the big issue here.

Wait you only get 2 year warranty with the car down there???! Ford gives 5 years as standard up here, and that's actually low in our market... other manufacturers have 7/8 years... (100.000km for Ford, or 150.000 for some others).

Anyhoo.

Side import would be a lot of hassle for me... it would be expensive, I'd loose warranties and consumer rights (which are strong enough in Norway to force Apple to change its mind, though not Spielberg ;)) I'd also loose out on DAB (which is important since FM is dead by 2017 up here) and local navigation etc.

Otherwise I'd get one instead of this Waiting Game...

Wow !!!! Looks expensive. Almost double price than other models!

They have not yet published the price for the mustang but the most expensive so far is Galaxy 600eur.
Go to middle tab (blue tab below Ford Protect) called Τιμές (prices) to check the price list for the extra 3 years or 100,000 kil.
