Those people should be careful with who they try to wind up. People who fuck purposely with others will be gored at some point along the way.

Someday when I'm bored I may just park out there in no-man's land, take a seat someplace and monitor what goes on. Might be interesting.
You would be amazed how people never consider some of us have dash cams recording everything they're doing as they walk by your parked car. Even I forget sometimes, and I am caught all talking animatedly with someone out in front of my car. :p:D

You probably don't need to waste your time monitoring with one of these things doing it for you; you will have on video who travels all the way across the lot just to park next to you...and maybe their plate, too, if it's a hit-and-run ;)

I had a specific incident a month or two ago. I HAD to make an emergency run to Wal-Mart (hate that place to begin with) because it was the only store open that late. I parked waaaay out, under a street light (with camera attached) just to be safe. I came out, no longer than 15 mins later, to find some asshole parked his POS Hyundai right next to me. SO, i decided to flip up his wiper blades and left a lil saliva on his door handle. :D That will teach him (hopefull ) the next time he decides to be "cute" and park on top of a nicer vehicle when there is ample parking else where.
Maybe that person thinks their car is nicer....:frusty:

i look for end spots that have a curb on one side. then I tuck my car in as close to the curb as possible. now their is more room on one side and I am protected on the other. my wife is a good sport about this too and will tell me how much room I have so I don't scrape the rim. :)

If someone purposely parks on top of you in an extremely vacant lot (and their car is a dented up POS) it was OBVIOUSLY done just to be an asshole. I see nothing wrong with what i did. Screw that guy. (i saw the driver, btw, which solidified my actions)

It kinda irks me when some douchebag parks next to me, but as long as its not a mom in a minivan than its all gravy.

Moms in minivans are the most dangerous drivers on the road, hands down.

This. Also, when they attempt to maneuver a large SUV. That's actually worse, IMO.

Knock on wood, but haven't had any dings yet. I usually park out in No Man's land too, but every now and then, I usually find other Mustangs or the occasional Camaro or Challenger parking next to or around me. And actually one time, had an Ferrari F430 park next to me too and while he plenty other better spots to choose from, but planted it right next to mine.
This I don't mind cause I'd like to assume that they, like me, know how most other car people park and won't worry about getting a ding.
The optimistic side of me would always like to think that the eventual C7 or Porsche that happened to park next to me would park to where door dings are avoidable and dings from me are avoidable as well. This has worked for me for many years now.
If only this mindset was shared with many other drivers...
I was thinking of making up some notes that I could leave on the windshield of a fellow nice car enthusiast if I had to park right next to them out in no man's land. It would say something like, "Hi, I parked next to you because you have a nice car and you obviously care about it like I do mine. Don't worry, I was very careful not to ding your car. Happy motoring!".

That way, if he came out and saw a car right next to his out in no man's land he would understand why, and not think I was just some kind of an a-hole for parking next to him.
