I know it's a 4 cylinder and it'll "never have a V8 sound", but there's other 4 cylinders, like the SRT4s, that sound just fine. Ford spent too much time working on making up for sound with electronics instead of putting that effort into the mechanics of the sound.

And who decided we are all aiming for v8 sound and who named it best car sound? There are plenty of inline 6s and subbie sounds I'd much rather choose than your typical 'murica v8. Had it got bored of it now I want a different sound. I do agree the EB sucks on how it sounds but it's also not terrible and I've met a happy middle with it.

This exhaust sounds intense though not gonna lie

Yeah, this is loud. Specially when you are far away from the camera and it sounds like you're still beside it

update:
I was informed by the product group that these exhausts will be available for purchase
and will have options such as straight pipe no resonator, resonator (as pictured), and to add an additional muffler to reduce the sound

I may go straight pipe at some point - I like it LOUD!

Mine sounds pretty decent when just cruising around. But it sounds pretty awful to me when i listen to videos. I just have a Uni Magnaflow in place of the stock resonator with a catless downpipe

well it is called "race exhaust"
I've been daily driving it since installed
My coyote with long tubes and full exhaust is louder

its a different loud of course but still way louder from inside the interior

it's not meant for looks
you simply can not beat the flow efficiency and weight reduction of a race single with dump like this over a full system

I'll eventually install the full cp-e exhaust
for now until the end of track season, I'm daily driving this exhaust and love it

I personally like the WTF looks and questions I get running this exhaust
