I should have known better than to get a Black Mustang because my OCD is waaaaaaaaaay too much for this but anyways, my question is if you look over the drivers side rear wheel, right above the top of the wheel on the body of the car, do you see some body waves that are noticeble when really getting down to look at it???

It is noticeably worse the cleaner the car is. Here is a pic of the area I'm referring to.

This is an OEM wave you see here. I just went to 2 different dealerships and all 4 black Mustangs had this same wave on the drivers side rear right above the wheel.

Anybody else notice this. It's driving me crazy.:headbonk:

Not orange peel. I know what that is. It's the very small waves in the sheet metal where the outside sheet metal bonds to the wheel well sheet metal.

No I haven't noticed it on my car. I don't examine my cars looking for flaws. Why would I do that? :)

I just drive and have fun with it.

You don't mean "BLACK" mustang owners but owners of BLACK mustangs.....sorry, just had to say it!!!

Probably die marks from the stamping process.

I hate to break this to you but you bought a "mustang", for the performance and technology of this car how could they build it for 40k if they didn't cheap out on some things. The waves will actually improve you mpg. Once you get that first scratch or stone chip you won't ever notice them waves again. I'm pretty sure you can't see them from the drivers seat, you should try it out sometime.

I have no words to describe how ridiculous all of this is. I can't help but think about what your life is like w/ your acceptance of subpar quality.

:tsk:
