First off I want to say I've almost always had the official OEM service manuals for my fun cars. If you enjoy working on things yourself and are overly OCD about specs and torque settings, it's a must.

Probably showing some age here but this is the first all digital manual I've dealt with and it's awesome. All the images are rendered from the CAD drawings for the car and the specific area or part that is being talked about is in a specific color while the rest of the parts around it are grayed out but it is very clear and concise. I'm super happy with it.

If you haven't picked it up or are on the fence about getting it, don't hesitate. It's totally worth the money! The only suck part is it is windows based and as a designer, everything I have was Mac OS. Thankfully my wife had an extra windows laptop I'm using as my service manual now.

Is the manual like an app or is it a PDF that once you have access you can just copy it? I'm a Mac user w/o any Windows options, not even friends/family with Windows any more :(

I would pay to "share the manual" :) I'm sure we can get screen shots or something loaded to a hosting site for download :)

DarkSubRosa you can do VirtualBox and run a virtual version of windows, to have it on your Mac.

I've done bootcamp before, rather not do it again. We have an extra PC laptop that I'm using to run it. It installs like an actual program but basically is just like a PDF with bookmarks more or less. It won't run without the CD in the drive either. I thought of just going section by section and exporting but there's so many pages there's no way I'm taking that much time just to access it elsewhere.

I "obtained" the Helm manual for my Focus ST. They are indeed quite good. Some of the procedures were a little vague though now and then, but still better than no guidance at all.

Here is a sample picture in the Helm Manual that is part of the instrument panel removal instructions for the ST.

there are many options to get around that.

anyway, this is the one you purchased, yes?

what does the structure of the cd look like? can the pdfs be extracted from the cd?
Yes, that's the one I ordered. So with each section you can print to PDF and save to the desktop. It would just be a huge task to extract every section. If you were working on something specific though, say like the front springs, you can print out the whole section on spring removal or export to PDF and have it saved down. They have a built in print button to the manual software for this purpose so that it exports properly.

won't be a huge task (depending on how the pdfs are physically stored on the disc) :).

Would you mind uploading the wiring diagrams for the map light?
