I wasn't sure where to post this question, so I apologize in advance if this is not the right location.
A co-worker noticed something hanging down from the front of my car this morning. I went out to take a look and this is what I found. It's a strip of rubber the appears to be glued to the underside of the bumper. It's too flimsy to be an air dam, I think. It looks like it might be in place to protect the bumper from curbs and parking stops, but I don't know.
Any ideas? And how important is it? I went ahead and pulled it off the remainder of the way and threw it in the trunk.
