PMAS intake for sale

PMAS intake with less than 30 miles on it for sale. Going a different route. It's brand new and they have a thread under sponsor classifieds that discribes it. Sells for 450 shipped from them, I'll let it go for 400 shipped.

***UPDATE*** Im going to hold off on selling and possibly return if its not functioning properly.Once i get customer service at PMAS involved i'll know if its non functioning or if my current set up is causing the issues.

I was told that to get the most out of it I'd have to take my car further than I'm willing to go. I think I may return to stock or possibly one of the more simple intake systems. I'm not trying to get huge gains, I just wanted a little more torque.

To clarify we all understand you can't just buy two parts and expect to add the gains together.

OP purchased a tuner and used a canned tune.

Then purchased PMAS intake. The intake doesn't benefit from a canned tune. Big gains are being seen when you simply go to a custom tuner and get the car actually tuned.

Thanks for your explaination, but again a custom tune is farther than I'm willing to take my car. I'm looking for something simpler, not the largest gains possible so a simpler intake system that does work with my canned tune would benefit me the most

It can function with gains without a custom tune. But can also be used with a custom tune. I assume there will be some good gains made once people start tuning them and the bugs are worked out.

I went with the livernois tune based on reviews from this forum. I thought the general opinion was that livernois and Lund had great results.

Just purchased the Livernois Tune. I will install this week and track test it

Canned tunes are among the safes tunes avail. They are not tuned on the edge, they are very conservative.

I agree. Custom tuners try to squeeze out every ounce of power... I don't need that.
