Before I get blasted.... I have looked under the search but could not find exactly the numbers I was looking for, so I'm sorry if this is a horse already been beaten to death...

I have a 2015 GT PP which I have added the lowering springs 1.5 in the front and 1" in the rear. I want wider tires up front and rear. I'm not only interested in going in straight lines, I want cornering ability.

The information I'm looking for is, can I put 285s up front and 305s in the rear without having rubbing issues? If I put the 285s up front would that require an 8.5, 9 or 10" rims? What size would I need for the rear for the 305s? I want to stay with the 19" rims, I like the look with the lowering springs I have now. I don't want tires with more height than what it currently has with the stock GT PP wheels.

If I wanted to purchase rims and tires on line, where would be a good place and what rim size would I be looking for?
Again thank you for the info and sorry about the horse parts all overt the place

You could run a 20x10 on all 4 corners with those tire sizes Abd lower it without rubbing

Paul has the offsets dialed in so you could do just that.

Have you decided on a style of wheel? What are your overall plans?

I was thinking about running 285 up front and 305 in the rear. I don't want to have any issues with scraping my exhaust, so the tire height I wanted to keep where i'm at right now with the stock premium PP 19" rims. I don't know much about the tire and rim sizes. i don't know what the Pros and Cons would be about moving to 20" vs staying with 19" i like the way my 19s" fill the fender well now. I already have the lowering springs from CJPP. i like the 10 spoke rims on the GT 360. i want them black, my Gt is white.

If you like the GT350 wheels I would talk to one of the MRR dealers that are on the site.

Another good option is the HRE FF15's which run as a square 19x10 setup or you can run staggered at 19x10 front and 19x11 rears. Fitment is spot on as well. Tire sizes for that I would run 285/35 and 305/35 (at a minimum). We've ran 275/35 and 325/30 Nitto Invos with good success as well.

Any questions at all on HRE's just give us a shout:)

the staggered is the way I would like to go. 19X11 on the rear would be meaty... I love it. do you have a link to look at different rims for that setup?

thanks

285's need to be on wheels that are AT LEAST 9.5" wide. 305's need at least 10's (for 305/35's) or 10.5's (305/30's). This information is readily available on tire sites that provide tire dimensional information and is pretty much universal regardless of whose tires and what model they might be.

Those are wheel width minimums for those tire sizes, and will sacrifice some cornering response and steering precision as compared to mounting those same sizes on slightly/somewhat wider rims. IOW, when your thing includes cornering it's not just about tire sizes . . .

I would recommend the MRR M350 wheels rotory forged light weight 19"

19x10
19x11

easily fit a 275/305 tire combination on there no rubbing with the drop and they come in gloss black standard finish !
