Found out something interesting today.

I was bored, so i decided to go on Tire Rack and see what tires are OE on some random supercars. I decided to look at the McLaren MP4-12C.

It uses the same exact Pirelli P-Zero Summer tires that the EcoBoost Performance Package and GT Performance Package use.

That is really staggering, that a $200k supercar uses the same exact tires that a $35k mass produced car uses.

Same as a lot of high-end cars, actually. Odd to know that the freakin' HELLCAT uses 275-series P Zeros on its hind end. Used to be OEM (might still be on some models) kit for Ferraris and Lamborghinis too.

That's really something. I think there's a couple Ferraris that use Pirellis that are specially designed for that car and that car only.
