Good info thanks! It's interesting they are bringing it to Goodwood when they said it won't be exported for now. Either way cant wait to see it make the hill climb, always love the FOS

Why would Ford showcase the GT350R in England if it is not being released in the UK? Ford, you have to now release the GT350R in the UK or otherwise we'll assume in this country that you're just a bunch of gloaters!

Absolutely! ....

...... ;)
I could see a LHD performance model based on the same car for the U.K. but would it have to say Shelby? They could name it after a famous track and make that its target. I bet engine and emissions testing and compliance is a task all in its own but nothing an extra tax couldnt handle.

The best part of this is that the Stig is driving the 350!

The biggest news is those three gobsh*tes have given me the best reason yet to not get NetFlix. Clarkson just can't understand why everyone wouldn't drive a C63 if they can't afford Ferrari/Aston/Lambo (delete as applicable).

And Evans will kill off Top Gear as he's every bit as elitist and won't have the support of the Clarkson fanbois...

I'm not a fan, in case anyone wondered

You're not alone. I am more alone with my opinion than you ;)

Hammond loves his American muscle cars. James May, well he makes good programmes about model railways...

LHD or RHD, I'd definitely have one - and they could call it whatever they wanted to! :) If it was officially sold in the UK that would obviously make servicing much simpler and obtaining parts much easier.

As for the emissions and compliance testing, surely the GT350 going outside North America is something that Ford would have had as a contingency scenario based on the strength of standard V8 GT sales (which have been very strong in Europe and especially the UK, I believe)?

In case you hadn't noticed, I'm desperately trying to convince myself the 350 is coming to the UK! :D

UPDATE: The GT350R Mustang will be driven by Former Stig, Ben Collins!

Anyone going to Goodwood Festival of Speed at the end of this month? Wonder if they will be showing the Euro Mustang this time, maybe even start her up?!
Is there any chance that the BBC will cover this?

I can't count the times that the Euros got something cool we can't get, turn around is fair play as they say.

I've seen coverage of the Goodwood festival but not live usually months later.
