My passenger seat back stuck is stuck in the tilted forward position. Anyone know how to fix this? Where does the latch lever on the back of the seat go to and is it accessible to manually release a latch by reaching under the seat somewhere?

I don't recall exactly how I did this, but I think it might have been from tilting the back forward, then sliding the seat forward on the rails. Did I confuse the latches??

After playing with the seat for a minute from outside the car, I was able to get it to go back into position by pulling up several times on the on the tilt lever down by the seat belt. All better. :)

Pulling many times (and harder) on the lever on the back of the seat did absolutely nothing. ;)

You might try a slight amount of pressure with your free hand, in the forward direction, and see if that eases the tension on the latch. It is hard to do that with just one hand on the handle, but it might be a little bit of binding on the latch that is causing the problem.

The latch on my rear pax side works like 1 out of 10 times. I have to use the one by the pax door. Of course when I brought it to the dealer and showed them, when they went to work on it they couldn't reproduce it. Now still not working. Have an appt with a different dealer coming up to take care of it.

Something else to look for is that if you have the seat slide forward on the rails with the seat back tilted forward, the ceiling will interfere with the headrest not allowing to seat back to recline. Just slide the seat back on the rails until the headrest clears.
