You don’t want to know
This site is actually pretty good, and it also says 16-18 weeks for production (including shipping), add another couple of weeks for cars going to the Left Coast and add another couple of weeks if the cars have to leave the plant for accessories (possibly stripes? I'm guessing). However, I don't know when the clock starts on the 16-18 weeks - when the VIN is received? - after production is scheduled?

Anybody know?

This is Donlen, a hertz company. Only bad thing I have noticed is that they are not current, the date on that spreadsheet is March.

Has any dealers where you placed orders given any promises or estimations on when gt350 would arrive on or how long it might take?

Mine didn't. They said the car would be built in August, but they had no idea how long Ford would keep it before shipping. They said that Ford will often build large quantities of a car and then ship them all out at once.

Keep in mind that it doesn't matter when you order. It matters what priority level is given, and when the allocation is for.

I asked this in another thread, but will ask here as well. Lets say you have a car on order with a dealer with 1 allocation, lets say another dealer has 4 allocations. Is it possible the larger dealer could have 2/3/4 cars built/delivered before the smaller dealership gets their 1 car?

Yes it is. Allocation is not necessarily size based either. The order of when they are built actually has to do with a number of different factors. Sadly many small dealerships will be waiting quite a long time before they may get their one allocation.

If I get mine late fall or early winter it will just go into the Garage until mid-spring so I can be very flexible about the delivery date. If it comes in late no worries.

Same here - I was told production for my 2016 would start in August.

We'll see.

Ford has released the JOB 1 date for 2016 Mustangs as 8/3.

Ford has NOT yet disclosed the JOB 1 date for the GT350. Highly likely it will be sometime in August but any dealer telling you "X" date is just guessing and referencing the general Mustang Job 1 date.

Correct also, keep in mind the 2015 GT350's need to be built.

The dealership I work at has a '15 GT350R being built in mid-July. The '16's aren't supposed to start production until the 4th quarter of the year, though. I'm still waiting on Ford to tell me which quarters our individual '16 allocations will be built.
