Was that with stock pistons/rods? Timing/oil pump gear? I'm kind of blown away by these power numbers. Almost seems too good to be true since my last mustang was from the era of super delicate pistons.......

Do you really think they would make it up? Its called pushing your self and your company. This is what these guys live and breath. They don't come on the forums debating what type of cat back system sounds the best. They go out and try new things and push their products to the limits.

I have been drag racing or involved with drag racing for over 20 years. Good runs there Beef!

I think the idea here is that if you want to mod your car and get the most out of it with what mods you choose.....you always look at what the fastest guys are running and pick pull and piece together information on the parts they are using and then adjust accordingly to fit YOUR needs and expectations.

I think this is just a great representation of what the S550 is capable of.....AND I don't think just anyone can throw money at it and have the same results. There is something to tuning, driving and combination of parts that make those extra few tenths of a second when it counts. just my .02...not trying to thread jack here.

I agree, this is the real deal! Legitimate companies do not "make up" info. These guys are legit! They are also obviously talented and skilled in what they do.

any shop car, we always do billet oil pump gears,

my last car, my 2014 car we didn't push as far, it is a low 10 second car, we probably had about 100 passes on it, and it's been in LA for the last year grudge racing with the new owner.

He's seen the 15 and is already wanting to buy it!

he actually runs daily on 20's on our 14 car.

the 15 has better rods, and slightly better pistons. but we are definitely pushing it and have a built engine in the works

Not sure I understand the big deal. One can throw unlimited monies at almost any car and get great numbers.
What I would like to see is a budget that most people could afford, and be drivable to work in the rain every day too.
The Speed Shop in our town has a sign on the wall back of the cashier:

"TALKS CHEAP - HORSEPOWER COSTS MONEY" If you want a car to drive to work in the rain and take auntie shopping just leave it like Ford Built It, which is what I've done. I do however like to attend races and watch the Big Dogs Run.

Well all want to mod our car. That isn't my point of course. I have no doubt you sell blowers to people. I'm sure you make great parts. My original comment still stands. It's not about any one part my friend, or any one car.

Imho what you are doing here is promotion and sales. Ok, nothing wrong with that, but honest about it. Having the fastest mustang (regardless of how much you spent), is an investment that lends additional perceived credibility to your company. Even your logo "HOME OF THE QUICKEST 2015 MUSTANG GT ON THE PLANET!!!!!!", is designed to sell product. Ok I get it. Very good.
I thought the shiny banner that said diamond vendor lets everyone know that we are selling product

Is it not the obvious and smart thing to do? I'm not getting your point; are you trying to make a statement?

Guy builds fast car and happens to be a vendor that sells these parts to customers. Why wouldn't he try to push their project car with the products they sell?

This is most impressive. The parts on Terry's car are the same ones ANYONE can buy and do themselves. Shops and business love hearing when customers run times, set records, ect.

What Terry did this past weekend is show what the 2015s can do. These are still cheap muscle cars and STILL need parts to go fast. He took what was out and made it work. ANYONE can do that.

Again.... Congrats to Terry!!

Dude it was a simple question. I have not followed their build. It was a question I was asking for their feedback on. So not recall asking for your feedback.

Isn't that obvious? You gonna buy go fast Mustang parts from a company with a 14 second cobalt? When you want to get in shape you don't hire a 400lb flabby personal trainer no matter how good of a game he talks. Results speak volumes. I am sure they are passionate about cars cause most people lose money in the car racing game. Its a lot of work and there are better ways to make money than working on cars.

Says Diamond Sponsor on my screen lol. Unless vendor is elsewhere. And also, great times for 4000lbs and IRS. When will the vids come out?

The fastest stock motor coyote ran 8.6@156. The car is 36XXlbs and has 1000's of street miles and lots of passes. Even has a stock 6R80. And the 2015's have the Boss 302 rods which are stronger. Matter of fact, a Turbo Boss 302 just made 1080whp on a stock motor. But when pushing things to this level you better be ready to pay the piper when the time comes.

Now just imagine when someone puts a 2015 motor and trans with boost in a 2700lbs foxybody. 7's?

"Results speak volumes"

Yes, these results speak to the skill of tech's and engineers, not necessarily the parts.
So, are you saying that no one else, with a nearly unlimited budget and different parts, can't equal or beat this record? Not that many will because few have the resources or inclination to do so.
You can buy whatever you want, but I'm not going to buy part "A", just because it performed well when used by a talented team of auto specialists AND in conjunction with 1000's of $$ of other parts. Doesn't make the one part the best.
