I have seen many videos of Stainless Works/Kooks/American Racing Headers' Headers with their catbacks and I know they sound amazing. VERY raspy. I haven't heard a setup like this in person though.

I was wondering if there was a setup that has the great V8 Grumble and Burble also. I don't mind the rasp, but in the videos it sounds high pitch and not deep.

BTW this is a daily driver. This is all with cats too. I would need something with minimal drone but also to sound amazing.
I WOULD go with the Ford Racing Sport Catback but I'm also greedy for the power from headers. :D
Thanks

American Racings or Kooks full exhaust they sound great. I have a Gibson with a Custom touch on mine. It sounds amazing now. I believe that with full length headers it will be even better. I have not tested the headers with it yet. Go to this link and listen to the videos see if this exhaust is the route you want to go.. Again, I have stock headers and cats.

My Stang with the Stainless Power headers ( SW ) Hi flow cats and Roush axle back sounds wicked, sick , evil and nasty ... It's ok just putting around but you pull the clutch in and blip the throttle everyone knows you looking for trouble .. ) I'm so glad I left the factory resonator in place ...:eyebulge:

If I keep the stock, crazy muffle-ing resonator how'd that change sound? Just quiet it down or change tone also?

If you want it more on the quiet side leave the resonator and get factory connect long tubes.

I am going to go with ARH h-pipe catted headers and leave the stock mufflers for now. Am hopping that will wake things up a bit. If not, guess I will try some mufflers - hopefully won't be crazy loud with the catted headers.

My goal is to run stainless works catless headers, to 2.5" x pipe and 2.5" dual exhaust to cus to axle backs that I'm making myself with borla mufflers. Should sound aggressive and not too loud.

This is ours, full ARH setup, no cats but an X pipe setup. Zero drone, loud when you get on it and tame when just simply cruising.

@fionic that is my mustang with full ARH exhaust vid. The exhaust is actually too tame for me it has a badass rumble when you get on it but I'm going catless now. I haven't installed the delete pipes yet because I'm waiting for them to be shipped out from hypermotive. It also has an intake and tune now. To OP I can post more vids if it will help you tomorrow (Sunday) just let me know exactly what you want to see I will gladly help out
