It's very good to see so many Base GT's in the 3670lbs range. A few surprising GTPP weights too. I thought I seen one say under 3700lbs.

Has anyone weighed a base GT over 3705lbs?

Where do you go to weigh the car? Can I just go to a truck stop and drive on the scales that the 18 wheelers use?

I've done exactly that in a 2009 Jetta I had to get weight for, it only measured in 20 lb increments but it only cost a few dollars to do... It's pretty easy really.

I think it's funny that the more people weighing their cars the more they seem to be much lighter than first anticipated.

Yes, I specifically remember being called out for suggesting such nonsense.

Someone on here claims his GTPP was 3670lbs... That is very light.

I am glad to see people weighing their Mustangs. I hope more Mustang owners can provide weight numbers for their Mustangs. Be interesting to see what the lightest combination is out there.

corner weighting scales show my non-PP, non-Premium, stock cloth seat V8 GT to weight 3593. Fuel down to almost zero, 3 miles to E, and trunk junk removed. Mats still in.

My Magnaflow Comp catback was around 51lbs. Did you weigh the connectors/bolts/nuts ? I think I had 48 lbs without them.

Fellow member, murphyslaww, weighed the base manual GT at 3593lbs.

See post #82:

So 3593lbs on empty tank, trunk junk removed & aftermarket exhaust. I give him credit for explain how he got his weight down from the factory weight.

That could be possible Full Tilt weighed their non-PP GT with a full tank and it was 3694. Fuel load has to be more than PP options I would think.
