First RHD spotted in the wild

it is a V8 auto.

This could possibly be the touring unit? did everyone get invites from their dealers about a car touring the UK Ford stores later this month early next?

Nope, my dealer said they were trying to get the car from Geneva MS a while back.
Heard nothing since.

Oh dear, it appears they have bothered to move the start button for RHD but decided to leave the cup holders and hand brake for LHD still :(:doh:

Which I imagine they'll get reamed for, when a journo gets hold of an RHD car.

Although it transpires that a lot of cars, both rhd and lhd, have the hand brake on the 'wrong' side, including one of the previous Mustangs, the SN95, I still think that the transmission tunnel cover is too wide in the S550, to make grabbing the hand brake comfortable.

For sure and I hope that will make a difference and get them to either admit they are definitely not changing it OR this was just a pre production model and they will be changing it.

I also noticed the lock buttons are still located on the passenger door in these pics when they should only be located on the drivers side for the option of locking the doors internally. I am hoping they have just put together a quick RHD test mule and these LHD bits will be changed.

Yeah it sits lower than the centre console so it will be a bit annoying.
