All the magazines report that this is the first time in its 50 year history that Ford is making the Mustang in RHD, but I have seen a few Mk 2's in RHD. Jokes aside, I believe this was for the South African market (who were also lucky enough to get the Sierra XR8 5.0 V8)

I think it shows some UK models as well because they have the Bright (Chrome) Window strip, I don't know if the Aussie vehicle have the chrome windows strip?
Don't ever believe what you see presented like this. It's a piece by a know nothing journalist, and the guy he interviewed didn't know much either. Don't assume any of what you saw was correct. "Redesign for the Australian market"? No redesign for RHD; "a distinctly Aussie twist"? What? RHD? 2000 orders? From where? Not Australia. He needed to do his 'piece' so he waits by the production line until a RHD one comes by and off he goes. Every sound bite is out of context and stuck together. That production line makes two different models so incorporating LHD is just business as usual.

It was nice to see RHD on the line though.

Do we know if Aussie cars will have the same spec as Euro? (i.e. clear tail lights, ridiculously large door mirrors and amber rear quarter reflectors)

That could possibly tell you if the RHD cars in the vid are bound for Aus.

The optimist in me sees the Magnetic with Ecoboost wheels @ 00:16 and thinks "ooh that could be mine, how exciting!" Whereas the pessimist in me thinks it's probably a crafty mirror image of a LHD video, to keep us sweet & Ford are still trying to figure it all out lol. The chaps in Europe seem happy enough though so I'm sure it will be worth it :)

Australia now has over 3000 orders :) Was funny though the factory expert says they redesigned the steering from right to left!

Styling wise I believe we are similar down to the faux GT fuel cap on the rear.
