When you flash one custom tune over another custom tune, do you have to flash back to stock first? Or can you just write over the previous tune?
from one tuner to another, we usually recommend going back to stock, and updating your handheld.

Does Lund tune on the Diablosport Trinity as well? I have one and am getting ready to load the canned JLT tune when my intake arrives this evening.

It is....I just think its ridiculous you can't write over the other tune, or it's frowned upon. My Accessport on my Subaru wrote tunes way faster, could change tunes on the fly, and could write over the previous tune without issue.

This isn't a Subaru. It's as much more to do with the ECU than the tuner. In my 91 I can tune live on the fly instantaneously. But that doesn't mean it's a better system.

Fwiw, I like my Lund tune also for my auto. One thing that has surprised me is the lack of very very solid bang on shift. It's a push, surge almost but never ever stops pulling during the shift. And doesn't knock you around town when daily driving.

Yeah that's a good way to describe it, but I tell you Lund can make it shift very hard at WOT and very firm at part-throttle if that's what somebody wants. My first revision had very hard positive shifts...to some that may be right up their ally, but for me and my daily driver I wanted it softened up. The raising of the WOT shift-points was a big thing with me also...the customization that's available with a great tuner and the ability to datalog is invaluable.

I just got my revised tune back and man...
It shifts firm and quick at partial throttle and at wot is slams into gear and chirps tires! Reminds me of my valve body I installed on my fully built 2003 Lightning

Nice, its great that they can really customize it the way you like it. I assume the datalog went well, after you do it once its really easy.

Yep. I'm working with him right now to firm up the wot up shifts but soften the part throttle ones.

Jon has been a pleasure to work with.

I'm in the same process.. It is pretty firm at partial throttle and he is adjusting it a little more. At WOT I chirp tires... Brings back memories of my old 700HP 2003 Lightning!

I was told personally by Lund, I did not have to put car back to stock before loading a new tune. Did this on Friday and have no problems.

I haven't been back to the track yet after tuned, but bone stock I went 12.99 at 109.6 in +1450 DA (GT Auto Premium, OEM 20's, 401A) I just have no interest in going to the track in 90+ degree heat right now in South Florida.

I can tell you its much, much faster then bone stock! lol

He has mine shifting pretty good. I could actually use to soften it up at 30%-75% throttle but it's perfect below and above. Yes I am picky. Yes I may have to settle for that I have which is actually great. After some discussion with him, it's the time it takes to shift that was my issue. He sped it up and backed the shift pressures back to stock and even has torque reduction back in full force. Full throttle upshift in D and normal is nothing short of spectacular.

Sounds like lund is the way to go for those of us with the auto. My whipple tune has been downshift happy and under partial throttle feels less like it has less torque than stock (without supercharger)...

Can Lund adjust the idle speed? My current tune is idling higher than stock which I'd like to set to absolute minimum...
