I checked out the sticky with the videos of the exhaust notes, and based on that, I decided to go with the Magnaflow cat-back Competition. Seemed like it was very deep and bassy with not too much rasp.

But looking in the threads, it doesn't seem like too many people had them from what I saw. For anyone that has this, how do you like it and how accurate to the videos was it?

Not sure about the video and you really cant base your decision on what you hear on the computer. I have the comp cat backs from Magnaflow and they sound great. Little on the louder side but since I dont drive it often, it is fun to hear. Im always on it now!

Yeah, I know listening on the computer isn't the best, but it's my only option since I'm overseas with the military for a while longer. I checked out a few different videos and got a decent idea of it at least.

Did you remove your sound tube or is it still installed? What does it sound like in the cabin when you're driving normally?

Deathmonkey,

Awesome on your purchase. Your going to love it! I have it on mine and couldn't be happier. Just enough for me and no drown. It is a little loud some will say which is also different then saying it drowns.

Either way. ENJOY!!!

I agree with UPRSteve. It is loud but I have not experienced any drone. A lot of people I think confuse drone and it just being loud. It is very deep and bassy at idle and low rpm.

Great! I am excited to get home and pick up the car and start the mods on it. Did you guys take it to a shop to get put on or did you do it yourself?

No drone is good, what about vibration? I'm torn between the street series and competition. I have read (on here I think) that there is a significant increase in interior vibration, I'm worried that the system will cause rattles and squeaks inside the dash/doors.

Thanks for the input everyone, I'm even more sure that I made the right choice. The worst thing is waiting until late summer/early fall when I'll be back and picking up the car. At least I have something to look forward to!

You are going to love them.

I literally go to the market And run errands for my wife I otherwise wouldn't, just so I can drive the car and hear the exhaust.

Im glad to hear everyone's positive feedback on this. I just ordered this exhaust for my GT and I cant wait to hear it in person. I listened to the video on a nice surround stereo system hoping it would be as close to real life as possible.
