Yes, they're a different design than the single tip Competition muffler, since that muffler won't support actual quad tips. However, these quad-tip mufflers are made to produce that undeniable competition sound. Bill does say that he feels the quad-tips are a bit deeper in tone than the single tip, though.

Not at this time. For those who are interested in just an axle-back quad-tip option, the Roush's are the perfect choice.

Shame it doesn't also come with a h-pipe option. That would really give it a proper deep tone. If one was available, I would choose this in a heart beat (not interested in axle back + h-pipe option before you say it)
