Some people say black shows dirt the quickest, but I would argue that white is a close second. Go Blue.

Not even close. My black 135i would look dirty an hour after washing it - due to dust/pollen/what-have-you settling on it and being clearly visible. My Oxford White mustang looks perfectly clean days and days later. Unless you look at the tinted rear window - and you can then see all the dust/pollen, but that is a very quick fix.

And that is just with dust, if you actually talk about rain/wet roads....

OP, imo, not getting the PP because of wider tires is, to put it mildly, silly. If you find that you can't live with the wider tire (which I very much doubt will be the case), sell them and buy something else.

Regarding not wanting summer tires. Why not? If you live where you get snow and cold, best bet is to invest in a set of winter tires anyways. If you don't live in such a climate, summers would be your best bet, I think.

IMO the 50th grill is atrocious, but I guess can be replaced easily enough. I also don't like the way you lose the lighting on the door sill.

Thanks for all the comments so far!

Regarding the comments about the PP, I'm reconsidering it because I recognize it's a great value, especially for the better brakes. But I still have practical concerns. This probably deserves a separate thread.

Regarding blue vs white, as others have said I'll definitely have to see them in the metal. My intuition tells me that blue will show dirt and scratches a little worse, but I'm not sure and I can't really tell this by looking at them so comments are helpful.

Regarding 50 year pack - I'm surprised some people don't like the grill as I thought it was by far the best looking grill! It's also my main reason for considering the 50 year pack! Though I do like the fact that it honors the long heritage of the Mustang. Question about it: I know it changes the seat upholstery and maybe the doors, but does it change the dash materials at all? (editedit: sorry folks, the builder clearly states the 50 year pack comes with "Dash Panel with 50 Years Badge," so that answers my question.)

Generally speaking white and silver cars will be your best bet if you want to best hide/mask dirt, scratches, swirls etc.

Darker colors will show these more prominently. How much more will depend on the actual color. How much more you will notice would depend on your sensitivity to such artifacts.

If you get the PP, the 50th becomes less appealing as you will get the PP wheels, but are still paying the premium (as part of the 50th cost) for the 50th wheels.

If you do forgo the 50th, I strongly recommend spending the $395 for the Premiere Trim.

Also does the little "50 year" badge only come with the 50 year pack or is that on all 2015 mustangs? I couldn't find this information with a quick search.
The 50th grille is beautiful and definitely an improvement on the normal EB grille. I sold mine mainly for the money because I got a GT grill for $40.

The 50th interior gets the quality of the upgraded premium interior and on top of that has different stitching, embossed 50th seats, a different dash panel (which I love), and yes it has a different placard on the dash panel than the non 50th package cars

Here is my car's thread with some pictures. I have both the performance and 50th package so you can see both

Lighter the car, the easier it is on dirt. Darker the car, the easier dirt will appear on your car. I would recommend Oxford with PP. Black wheels complement and contrast with the white so good.

I am guessing you'd get the PP panel if both 50th and PP are ordered? Another reason the value of the 50th is diminished if one gets the PP as well. Surprised Ford doesn't adjust the pricing somehow if both are ordered.

No it's the opposite, you get the 50th dash panel when both are ordered which is the Axel spin finish

Do you really want the 3.73 that comes with the PP. I also thought about the PP, but am going to go with GT Premium and then swap out wheels and tires. I have also heard that if you need to buy another stock wheel from Ford it costs a fortune. You can get some sweet aftermarket wheels for same or less

He is talking about the Ecoboost PP. It has 3.55 gears

I know people's opinions on the 3.73 greatly vary, but even if I were in the "can't stand them" camp, I would not forgo the PP just because of the 3.73s (in your case. OP does not get 3.73 with eco PP).

Buying factory wheels for any car from any dealer will be a lot more expensive than an equivalent aftermarket offering.

I personally think Oxford white looks better and I know on mine I can certainly see the lines flowing up and down the car easily. The car is easier to keep clean but the only problem I have is the rear. Its very easy to get dirty especially on the back black strip and it drives me crazy
